Worship with us!
Worship at Christ the King is central to our lives as Christians and as a community of faith. On Sundays, we gather to be reminded of God making good on God’s promises by praying together, reading the Bible, hearing inspiring sermons, and singing meaningful songs. Together, we meet around the table to receive Holy Communion, the gift of Jesus Christ given for everyone, before being sent into the world to love God and our neighbors. Grounded in the promise of God’s grace, we are called to extend Christ’s welcome to all people. Our journeys in life often look very different on the surface, but we believe that God's love changes everything for everybody. Summer Food Drive: Celebrate Jesus' Table Grace!
Last Sunday, we began collecting food items that will be added to the altar in the sanctuary during the summer months. As we hear stories of Jesus' ministry of feeding those who hunger and thirst throughout the Gospel texts, we respond to this good news by taking action and feeding our own neighbors. You can bring non-perishable items to church on Sunday morning as many times as you'd like this summer. Everything we collect will be donated to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf in Mounds View in August.
