We are indeed sorry we had to postpone our Christmas Brunch.  But, to err on the side of
safety for all, the prudent action was to postpone.
Regarding tickets.  Hang on to your tickets for use at our rescheduled mid-January gathering. Our Christmas in January which will still be "Hope is Born - Together at Last".  As disciples of Christ, we should be celebrating Christmas each day of the year... and this will be a start.
If you cannot attend the January event, you can get a refund of your ticket price. Just contact Jean in the office, or let Les or Margo Kuivanen know, and we will refund your $10 per ticket.
If you cannot attend, but do not want a refund, let us know and funds available in this way will be deposited evenly between the Elders in Action and LCW budgets.
Again, thank you for your understanding.

In Peace,
EiA and LCW

A Note from the Brew Crew

Dear Members of CtK - Brew Crew needs help!!

When we think of worship, we usually picture singing on Sundays. That is indeed a wonderful way to raise praises to the Lord, but we can also worship through the work of ministry – i.e. social ministry/Brew Crew!

Do you ever wonder who is responsible for getting the delicious doughnuts and aromatic coffee ready for us  following our church service?

Yes! It is our very reliable and cheerful Brew Crew members who are ‘at the ready’ to serve, following each of our Sunday services.

Our Brew Crew volunteers exemplify time, energy, and heart. This team has committed approximately 5-6 serving times during the year to make your Sundays even more special, enabling you to socialize while enjoying delicious treats.

The skill set required to be a Brew Crew member is easy! One must be able to set out doughnuts, fill a coffee filter and press a button, set a table, and clean up afterwards! Oh, and a smile is required to help make someone’s day brighter!

Consider joining our Brew Crew team by contacting either Ron and Carol Gordon (rrcgordon@comcast.net) or Nick (nick@lifeatctk.org). We would love to have you!

Hospitality is ministry!!

The Elders in Action group is once again hosting a monthly coffee session; all are invited.
These coffee sessions will be the last Wednesday of each month, at 10:00 AM, in the Fireside Room.
Each month will feature a speaker on a relevant topic.

If you have any questions or would be interested in learning more about being a Volunteer Greeter, please contact Jean Stocker (Office Administrator).
