Romans 12:9-13
Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection;
outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.

Volunteer on Sunday Mornings

An important part of gathering as a faith community each week involves serving one another through the ministry of hospitality and welcome.  We rely on volunteers every Sunday to do simple tasks that have a profound and lasting impact. Volunteering for worship at CtK helps you to grow deeper connections with other volunteers, with CtK staff and pastors, and with members of the congregation who value your willingness to offer a warm welcome.

We welcome volunteers of all ages, no previous experience required!

As-needed/on-call 
Fill in on occasion when we have volunteer holes in our Sunday morning scheduling. When there is a need, we will contact you; you only volunteer when it works for you.
Brew Crew
Assist with setup, serving and cleanup for our coffee and donut fellowship. During or prior to your first time serving, you will receive basic training and instruction, so don't worry if you aren't sure what to do.
Greeter
Welcome visitors and members as they enter the building on Sunday mornings.
Lector
Read the lesson(s) in worship. You will receive the lesson earlier in the week and can bring any questions you might have to the pastor or worship director.
Usher 
Hand out bulletins, answer questions, direct worshippers to Communion, and record attendance.
Welcome Center
Provide a point of contact for visitors following worship at our welcome center. Answer questions, provide welcome and hand out visitor packs.
Worship Production
Help with video, livestream, projection, or other aspects of producing service on Sunday mornings.
