Weekly Happenings

CtK’s confirmation ministry is designed to:
  • Support families fulfilling their baptismal promises,  ​
  • Create a space for young people to safely discover and wonder about their faith,
  • Develop both intellectual and spiritual practices in the lives of young people,
  • Grow intentional community among young people​
To help students in grades 8-12 find their identity in faith and life.

Secondary School has proven to be a difficult time in a youth's life. iDENTITY helps students navigate how they can see faith as part of all aspects of life.
How:
  • Providing a safe space for youth to come ask questions and hang out.
  • Engaging in conversations with peers and young adults about shared life experience.
  • Engaging in volunteer projects inside and outside the church.
  • Finding out qualities, beliefs, personality traits.
  • Being ok with not knowing.
When:
  • Every other Sunday night from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.; use Door 7 down below​
  • April 9th & 23rd
  • May 7th & 21st
Where:
  • Start in the Youth Room then can move from there.
  • Like to meet off site a few times a year for food.
Special Events:
  • Volunteer for Feed my Starving Children around the Holiday time.
  • Music Guest Night.
  • Others

We serve God through serving others.

Retreat Weekends

Spend time with other youth, growing in faith and having a lot of fun!

Camp Wapo

Each summer, we join with other youth at Lake Wapogasset in Amery, WI. 

Summer Stretch

Youth from local churches gather together in August for a week of service and community.

Fellowship events and Lock-ins

Whether overnight, morning, noon, or night, these events build relationships that matter between youth.

ELCA College and University Scholarships from CtK

Scholarships are available to all CtK youth who will be attending an ELCA college or university in the fall. Scholarship applications are accepted during an established window January-March.
Wapo Youth Camp (Grades 4-9) June 25-30, 2023 - reg. closed

Wapo Family Camp (All Ages) August 11 - 13, 2023

Appalachia Service Project (9th grade and up) July 8-16
A week that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair and replacement in Central Appalachia. Contact Deb Wolterstorff.
Christikon, MT (Families & Adults) July 22-30
Led by Cristo Rey, this backpacking and hiking trip is a time for spiritual growth and renewal. Contact Pastora Ana.
Summer Stretch (Grades 6-12) July 31 - August 4, 2023
Summer Stretch is a collaboration of north metro Lutheran churches and meets each day around service and fellowship in the metro area. Contact Pastor Sarah.
