Building a Culture of Generosity

In big ways and small, we experience, witness, and demonstrate generosity in our daily lives. When we live generously, we not only help others, but we also lead by example to inspire giving and action. It is in building a culture of generosity within our church walls and out in the world that we are reminded that God has blessed us with plenty and that each of us has something to give.

Building a Culture of Generosity is the theme of our fall stewardship efforts. This theme points us to the generosity we have witnessed around our church over the last year and how financial contributions support the growth and enrichment of our ministry. It also reminds us that each of us is on a personal journey of generosity with opportunities to grow in even more profound ways.

Yes, these efforts directly support the financial health of our church and community. But more than that, this season reminds us that, as people of faith, we plan, prepare, and trust that through God we can live generously in all ways. It is through this faith that we ground our aspirations to build an even more robust ministry this year.
