🚗Drive-In WorshipNext Drive-In Worship: TBD
As we continue to respond to the ever-changing threat of COVID-19 in our community, we hold up your personal safety and well-being as our highest priority. We want to make it very clear that the best way for you to protect yourself is to not attend this service and so we will still offer a livestream of the parking lot service on our YouTube channel and Facebook page that morning.

1900 7th St. NW New Brighton, MN 55112 Phone: 651-633-4674 You are welcome to arrive and be directed to your parking spot beginning at 9 am by one of our volunteers. Once you're parked you can turn off your vehicle's engine, tune in to catch the live broadcast of the service on the radio, and get comfy! A printed bulletin to use throughout the morning service will be provided when you arrive. |
Animal Blessing on Oct. 4You are invited to bring your pet to church and celebrate with us the incredible blessing God gives to us through our loving animal companions! Don't have a pet? That's okay! You are still welcome to join us for morning worship in the CtK parking lot!
We gather with our furry babies on the Feast of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the environment and animals. Francis loved all creatures and allegedly preached to even the birds! Do you have a photo or special object that reminds you of a pet who has passed away or is unable to join you? Bring it with you and receive a blessing. |
Guidelines we will follow to gather safely
We will continue to abide by current quarantine restrictions and social distancing guidelines that might actually prevent us from gathering in person altogether. Also, if severe weather (i.e. extreme heat, lightening) is likely, we will cancel our in-person gathering. Any changes to our plans will be communicated if and when they happen.
For those choosing to gather with us at CtK, we will adhere to the following guidelines established for faith communities on April 14, 2020 by the MN Department of Health:
For those choosing to gather with us at CtK, we will adhere to the following guidelines established for faith communities on April 14, 2020 by the MN Department of Health:
- Each household should be in a separate car; carpooling does not comply with social distancing. Please, leave your pets at home.
- Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc.) should not attend.
- Worship will be led outside from under the drive-thru canopy in front of Door 1. The entire West parking lot will be given parking priority.
- Everyone will stay in their cars, unless you are bringing a lawn chair to sit in our designated outside seating area. One parking spot will remain vacant between your vehicle and the next to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet between households. Once parked, you should turn your car engine off and roll down your driver side window.
- The service will not last longer than 45 minutes. You are welcome to arrive and be directed to your parking spot beginning at 9:00 am.
- The church building will remain closed during the morning, meaning no bathrooms will be available. Plan accordingly.
- No food or drink will be served, though you are welcome to bring your own to share within your car/household.
- Offering baskets will be made available at the entrance and exit of the church parking lot.
- Praying, honking, and singing aloud will be encouraged as you participate from your car throughout the service.
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please email Nate Crary, CtK Director of Worship
