Reasons for Giving to the Christ the King Foundation:

Every year people donate millions and millions of dollars to charitable organizations that touch their hearts.  The major reason that people donate to a charity is because it makes them feel good.  If these gifts were not made to charities, like the Foundation, they would cease to exist and and in our case, grants would no longer be available.

Needless to say, gifts from individuals like you, no matter how large or how small, are important!
The Foundation receives a significant number of donations each year designated as “in memory of” a special person and they typically range from $25-$100.  These gifts add up quickly and are invested, with the Foundation now having an asset base of over 2 million dollars.  Each year approximately 5% of the asset base on December 31 is designated for grants for the following year. These grants are typically $5 - $10,000.  They allow the awarded charity to continue its work while benefiting the community as a whole.  Then you, as donors, hopefully feel a sense of pride in knowing that you are important to the continuance of their work.  This pride can also be heightened with the knowledge that your gift can allow the charity to continue beyond your lifetime.  The Foundation will tell you that no other gift can provide exactly this kind of benefit.  No other gift can provide the same type of satisfaction as this.

Consider a gift to the Foundation, no matter how small or large, at any time (It doesn’t have to be a special occasion). You can then beam with joy when we announce the recipients of awards twice a year in knowing that you helped make it happen.  The Christ the King Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and separate from Christ the King church.

Checks can be made payable to Christ the King Foundation and put in the mail slot/Steve Zenz in the church office.
You will receive a thank you letter for tax deductible purposes.
