Helpful Tips for Recording Your Video:
1) After you've downloaded the music, you will need to set up your video-recording device (smart phone, tablet, or computer webcam).
It might be a good idea to print the music out if you have access to a printer.
2) Use headphones to listen to the recording below on a different device than what your recording with. This way, the video you're recording will capture your isolated voice which will make it easier for us to stitch together with the other singers during the editing process.
3) When recording the video, the picture will look best if you are facing a natural light source during the day (like near a window).
Make sure the camera is at or above your eye level so we don't see up your nose!
Have your camera on its side so you capture the video horizontally, not vertically.
Set your camera on a stable surface or tripod to avoid a shaky picture.
If using a smartphone, make sure you are looking at the camera on the back of the phone,
with the screen facing away from you (not like when you take a selfie).
Allow for three seconds after you hit "record" before starting to play the audio track.
Allow for the same amount of time before you hit "stop" when the song is over.
4) Once you have finished recording, click the button below to upload your video by 7 pm on Thursday, April 1.
