As many of you know, this class combines breathing and Christian meditation with gentle movement either standing or seated in a chair. Please feel free to send instructor, Sarah Grow, an email with any questions or talk to her at Christ the King in the next few weeks.
There will also be a Gentle Stretch class taught by Sarah Grow at St Matthew Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights beginning Thursday evening, January 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Yogadevotion was started by Pastor Cindy Senarighi, and ELCA pastor, nurse and yoga instructor. She writes a devotion/meditation each week that is shared in yoga classes across Minnesota. I find Yogadevotion to be an authentic way to practice and embody yoga and spiritual practices such as stretching, strengthening, breathing, relaxing and meditating. All this in the supportive community of other faithful people!
