Small Group Ministry

Small groups (formerly Christian Life Groups) at Christ the King differ from other community sponsored small groups. They provide a safe place to be simultaneously supported and challenged in your faith. At work, school, and a variety of other public places, it may seem uncomfortable or impolite to talk about faith.

Small groups offer a chance to create a network of people who care for your spiritual development, well-being, and expression. Group members respect each other’s viewpoints and hold things in confidence.

Small groups at Christ the King vary in emphasis of purpose, but they are common in these four elements:

  1. Fellowship
  2. Study
  3. Prayer
  4. Service
