Launching the MAP

We have a beary important thing to ask you...

...but don't worry! It will only take you 15-20 minutes.

Recently, some members of Christ the King leadership and staff began working with Kairos and Associates, a national resource development firm that works with Lutheran churches. Kairos will be working with us to assess the focus of our future ministry.

To launch this work, you are invited (as of this very moment) to participate in a congregational assessment called the Missional Assessment Profile (or MAP for short). This tool will paint a clearer picture of who we are as a church by measuring our congregational health, impact of ministries, and priorities for the future. Most importantly, it will help us to understand and identify the possibilities, willingness, capacity, and energy for moving our ministry into the future. Exciting stuff, right?

We need your input—yes, you!

While bears may not take this survey, every member of our congregation aged 16 and older can (and is encouraged) to participate. The survey takes about 15-20 minutes and will be open now through Oct. 9. All survey responses are anonymous. Our goal is to have as many members complete the survey as possible.

So what are you waiting for?
